This friendly, family run site lies in a quiet, picturesque location at the foot of Glen Duror. The park is well sheltered and is a real sun trap in the summer months. Opening August 2010Even though this site is located just half a mile from the market town of Barnard Castle, Teesdale Barnard Castle Caravan Club site is set in open countryside that is designated an Area of High Landscape Value. From the site, you can enjoy a 10 minte walk along the river to Barnard Castle. Barnard Castle is a delightful town, home to the renowed Bowes Museum and a 12thC castle. It also marks the entrance to Teesdale which offers spectacular scenery following the river up to High Force and a series of other waterfalls to its source beyond the Pennine Way and Cow Green Reservoir.

Our easy access touring pitches are top of the range with hook up to water, electricity, waste, TV aerial and they are also astro turfed. We have fabulous offers for tourers throughout the season, for example, during certain times of the year you can leave your van Sunday to Thursday free of charge if you are returning the following weekend. Also ask about our smiley faces. Every time you stay we issue you with a smiley sticker, when you have 4 you are entitled to a complimentary weekend.

Budemeadows is a beautiful setting for a touring holiday situated on a sheltered and gentle lee slope. Nine acres of naturally landscaped parkland, protected and divided by mature and dense hedgerows. Oak, willow, sloe, hazel and wild honeysuckle in profusion. Magnificent surroundings of which we are truly proud. As a touring caravan site our park is suitable for caravans, camping and motorhomes and is arranged in groups of landscaped pitches separated by hedges and fences.
